THE PROCESS

Medical Transcription is the conversion of digitized audio files dictated by physicians/clinicians/surgeons into text/data files. The doctor, while examining patients or performing surgery, dictates the details of the procedure(s) into a Dictaphone (hand-held USB or wireless device) which can then be attached to their computers to upload dictations to our secure FTPs or transmitted wirelessly. The data is then transmitted to our servers after 128-bit SSL coding/decoding (for confidentiality) via high-speed data transfer in the form of digitalized signal, then downloaded on to our secure servers.The voice files are then transcribed by trained and experienced MT professionals as per the required format, client specifications, and AAMT guidelines, and checked and double checked for accuracy to conform to existing market norms of accuracy.

The dictation files (now converted into text documents) are then sent back to the client with security precautions to maintain patient confidentiality, within the time requirement as defined by the client (TAT=Turn Around Time).
